    WI vs AUS

In what was a nightmarish outing for the West Indian batters at Sabina Park on 14th July 2025, they were bundled out for a paltry score of 27 runs in the 4th innings. It was a shock performance from the hosts as they failed to decipher the threat brought on by Mitchell Starc and co.

Mitchell Starc’s middle name is consistency and he wreaked havoc with the red-ball in the 4th innings. Playing his 100th Test match, Starc paved his way to an all-time great list. He bagged 400 wickets in Test cricket through this game and his domination was written all over the Caribbean Islands.

Starc dismissed 6 batters for only 9 runs and also bagged the fastest five-wicket haul in Test cricket. Notably, he took 3 wickets in the very first over of the innings. The 3 scalps were John Campbell, Kevlon Anderson and Brandon King.

His in-swinging deliveries had a lot of movement in the air and he also had an upright seam position. Starc’s deadly bowling most certainly has sent shivers down the spines of the West Indian batters.

Mitchell Starc now has joined the elite pantheon of legendary bowlers from Australia, who have taken more than 400 wickets in this format. The other 3 bowlers include Shane Warne, Nathan Lyon and Glenn McGrath.

A total of 7 WI batters fell for ducks

In a shambolic batting performance, a total of 7 West Indian batters were bundled out for ducks and the run-chase took place only for 14.3 overs. It was only Justin Greaves, who managed to get into double figures.

West Indies narrowly managed to save themselves from the blushes of having the lowest-ever Test score. The lowest-ever Test score in an innings is 26 runs and it was infamously logged by New Zealand on 28th March 1955 against England.

Australia have completed a white-wash against the hosts and the scoreline read 3-0.
