Riot Games created the action-packed MOBA game League of Legends Wild Rift, which turned out to be very well-received by the gaming community.
Players command champions with unique skills and powers who they use to destroy opponents’ Nexuses and win the battle.
New champion skills, weapons, and other in-game items are continually being added by the game’s creators.
The creators of League of Legends: Wild Rift have provided further details about Playhem, the patch version 4.2, which will be available on May 26.
Players will get access to new champions, one enemy, skin upgrades, and item updates alongside some quality-of-life (QoL) enhancements with the Playhem patch.
Through the game’s official YouTube channel, the developers unveiled the patch 4.2 preview, detailing that the update aims to please every League of Legends Wild Rift player.
League of Legends: Wild Rift New Champions
Ornn, Volibear, and Swain are the three new champions that will be unveiled in the newest Playhem patch.
Additionally, slaying the Ice Dragon, a new elemental enemy, causes the rift to turn snowy.
After May 26, players will be able to access the content in the League of Legends Wilf Rift Playhem patch.
Here’s more information about the new champions:
Ornn
In League of Legends: Wild Rift, The Fire Below the Mountain, Ornn, will be the new tank capable of taking several blows.
Without going back to the base, he may create any item in the map. In addition, once he reaches a certain level, he can craft items close to allies, making it possible for players to buy them anywhere on the map.
Volibear
The second champion in the Playhem patch is Volibear, the Relentless Storm. Moves used by this bear attacker do a lot of harm to enemies.
He can attack more quickly because of his passive Relentless Storm, which also increases the magic damage he does to enemies who are nearby.
Swain
Swain, the Noxian Grand General, will be a brilliant mage with a demonic hand. His first move, Nevermove, immobilises the enemies, while his second move, Vision of Empire, does more damage to the enemy.
He can further change into his demonic state by utilising Demonic Ascension. This gives him the ability to absorb the lives of his allies’ champions, neutral monsters, or minions.
Ice Dragon
The Playhem patch will also introduce a new elemental enemy named Ice Dragon in addition to the champions.
Slaying this dragon will provide the ability haste, which is a worthwhile goal for champions that can sing spells.
If players kill the dragon first, the rift freezes, turning the jungle and river frozen and giving the champions a faster movement speed.
A Frozen Fruit will also appear in the wild, and striking it will instantly freeze all enemies around.
A new Ahri skin will be available to players in the Playhem patch for League of Legends Wild Rift.
Volibear and Ornn will also square off in a new leaderboard event in the League of Legends Wild Rift Playhem patch.
