Minecraft 1.20 Pre-Release 2
Pre-release is a beta version of a game that is made available ahead of the finished product. Players may test out new features and report issues during pre-releases.
It is advised to make a backup of your world or to run these versions in a separate folder from your primary worlds since they are unstable and might corrupt it.
How to download Pre-Release 2
The Launcher must be installed on the player’s PC in order to download Minecraft 1.20 Pre-Release 2.
From the official Minecraft website, go to https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download to download the Launcher.
After you have the Launcher, do the following :
- Select the “Installations” tab from the Launcher’s top menu after launching it.
- Choose “New” from the menu, then give your installation a name (such as “Minecraft 1.20 pre-release 2”).
- Choose “snapshot 1.20-pre2” from the “Version” dropdown option.
- For your installation to be saved, click “Create”.
- Click “Play” to start the game after selecting your installation from the list.
If you prefer, you may turn on snapshots on the “Installations” page by toggling the switch next to “Snapshots.”
By doing this, you will be able to see every snapshot that is shown in the “Version” drop-down option.
The second pre-release of Minecraft 1.20 includes bug fixes and technical improvements. These include:
In the event that the user enables text-to-speech capabilities but it is not accessible, the game will now show a notice box upon starting.
Dispensers being stuck when boats or rafts are placed, horse armour losing its NBT data when mounted on horses using right-clicking, steerable entities that may be ridden, fall damage accruing while on climbable blocks, and other issues have been fixed.
