In a big breaking news, Rahul Dravid’s contract as the Head Coach of India has officially come to an end. The contract was for 2 years and was supposed to end after the completion of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023.
Rahul Dravid had taken over the reigns of the Indian cricket team from former Head Coach, Ravi Shastri after the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. He was at the helm for 2 years and reached the finals of 2 ICC tournaments.
Post the tough loss against Australia in the finals of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, India would be planning for the next course of action. And the first thing that will come up is India’s coaching staff and their review.
When Rahul Dravid was quizzed about his future in this position in the post-match press conference after the finals, Dravid said he hasn’t reflected on it.
“I haven’t thought about it. I’ve just come off a game. I had no time to think about this and no time to reflect on this. Yeah, I will when I get the time to do that,” he said at the post-match media conference.
