Rishabh Pant was involved in a horrific car accident in December 2022. The accident sent shockwaves across the entire cricketing fraternity and Pant had to undergo a knee injury. He is expected to be released from the hospital shortly but will be out of cricketing action for quite some time.
Pant was driving a Mercedes car when the accident occurred while he was returning to Uttarakhand from Delhi. The model of the car was Mercedes-AMG GLE 43 4MATIC Coupe and it immediately caught fire after the accident.
Now, a few Mercedes car experts visited Roorkee in Uttarakhand, where the accident took place for inspection. They have visited the spot in order to review the details of the accident and the spot where it occurred.
Pant was initially admitted to the Max Hospital in Dehradun but was soon airlifted to Mumbai for further treatment. The charges were incurred by the apex body of Indian cricket, the Board Of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI).
