English explosive batter Harry Brook becomes the first millionaire of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 auction as he is sold for a whopping Rs. 13.25 crore amount to the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) franchise.
SRH and the Rajasthan Royals (RR) franchise were engaged in a fierce battle as they kept bidding for Harry Brook. But eventually SRH won the race and bagged a lucrative deal for the 23-year-old English cricketer.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) too bid for Harry Brook initially but bowed out very soon. Brook has been in sensational form in T20 cricket and has a good Strike rate of 137.8 in T20I internationals. With Nicholas Pooran out of the SRH squad, Brook could be an ideal replacement of him.
