ISL 2022-23: East Bengal get hold off services of V.P. Suhair

After the financial deal with Email Group got done and dusted, East Bengal FC looks forward to a bright future. Their primary aim would be to get hold of a supremely talented squad and exorcise the ghosts of the previous 2 Indian Super League (ISL) seasons. With several new signings, East Bengal finally has a balanced side and would aim at starting on the right note under the tutelage of famed football coach Stephen Constantine.

In a major transfer update, the “Red and Gold Brigade” have signed in Indian forward V.P. Suhair into their squad. The contract is for three years and the 30-year-old footballer will play from the 2022-23 season. He had previously represented East Bengal in 2017.

In a total of 38 matches in ISL, Suhair has scored 7 goals and also has 3 assists under his belt. He previously played for North-East United in the 2021-22 season of ISL and helped the Highlanders qualify for the semi-finals. His impressive performances caught everyone’s eyes.
