The Indian Super League (ISL) 2022-23 is reaching its business end and the stakes are quite high. Out of 11 teams, 5 teams have already sealed their place in the ISL 2022-23 playoffs. FC Goa and Odisha FC are the 2 teams that are fighting for the 6th spot.
Mumbai City FC has already been crowned ISL League Shield winners yesterday after their impressive run in ISL 2022-23. The Islanders have won 14 out of their 20 league stage games and have been on the losing side on only 2 occasions.
Hyderabad FC has also qualified for the first semi-final as they will be finishing in the 2nd position in the ISL 2022-23 points table.
Now in big breaking news, the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa will be hosting the finals of the ISL 2022-23 season. Notably, the same stadium has been hosting the finals for the past 3 seasons.

The ISL 2022-23 final is scheduled to take place on 18th March 2023 and a lot of eyes are on the elusive and prestigious silverware.
Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, also known as the Fatorda Stadium will be now hosting its 4th consecutive ISL final and this is the 5th time they will be hosting it, in overall.
The dates of the single-leg playoffs are March 2 and March 3. The semi-finals’ opening legs will be played on March 6 and March 8, and the rematch will take place on March 11 and 12.
Notably, this is the 9th edition of the ISL. The most successful side is ATK (now known as ATK Mohun Bagan), who have won on 3 occasions.
Chennaiyin FC has won the ISL title on 2 occasions but they have failed to qualify for the ISL 2022-23 playoffs.
Manolo Marquez’s Hyderabad FC are the reigning champions after they beat Kerala Blasters FC in the ISL 2021-22 finals. They would be hoping to successfully defend their ISL title.
