Odisha FC has secured the services of right-back Tankadhar Bag, as per a source in Khelnow. The 19-year-old defender will be plying his trade for Josep Gombau’s side. He is a great addition to the defensive ranks of the Juggernauts as they would be keen on ironing out the flaws in the defensive set-up in their team.
Bag has previously played for the now-defunct Indian Arrows team. He represented the team in 22 matches from 2020 to 2022. Tankadhar Bag proved to be a potent weapon and considering his young age, it is an upwards trajectory for him.
He was also part of the Indian U-20 team that bagged the SAF U-20 Championship title in 2022. Bag will be adding a lot of new options to Odisha FC’s gaffer, Josep Gombau.
Odisha FC is presently in the 5th position in the points table of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2022-23.
