The Ashes 2023 contest between England and Australia will feature one of cricket’s longest rivalries. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) released the whole calendar for the five-match Test series on Wednesday, including the venues and fixtures.
England, currently captained by Ben Stokes and coached by Brendon McCullum, is slated to host Ireland in a one-off Test match at London’s Lord’s Cricket Ground in the first week of June before taking on Australia in the Ashes. On June 16, the first match of an exciting Ashes series would start at Birmingham’s renowned Edgbaston venue.
The following two venues will be Lord’s (June 28-July 2) and Headingley (July 6-10), with Old Trafford (July 19-23), and The Oval serving as the series’ final two venues (July 27-31).
The Women’s Ashes, which will start on June 22 with a one-off Test match at Trent Bridge, were also announced by the top English board. After that, there will be three ODIs and three T20Is between the two teams. Check complete details on Ashes 2023 schedule, and winners.

The England & Australia teams will play at Lord’s and The Oval, with the Ageas Bowl, Edgbaston, Headingley, Old Trafford, the Swale Stadium, and Trent Bridge serving as the other venues.
A bigger audience will be able to see the action at an appropriate hour in the United Kingdom because the Ashes will be contested in England.
