Bangladesh will be squaring off with Ireland in the 3rd and final ODI of this 3-match ODI series.
The match will be taking place at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet and is slated to begin from 2:00 PM (IST).
The hosts presently have a 1-0 lead ion the series. In the previous ODI, rain played spoilsport and the match got washed out.
Bangladesh had posted a humongous 349/6 on the board, on the back of Mushfiqur Rahim’s quickfire and blistering knock of 100* in just 60 balls.
Najmul Hossain Shanto and Litton Das too impressed with her batting performances.
They scored 73 and 70 runs respectively as Bangladesh were all set to pocket off the series.
Ireland would be hoping to stage a comeback in the ODI series and draw it.
Bangladesh on the other hand would be looking to win the final ODI and thereby win the series, 2-0.
For Ireland, Graham Hume was the pick of the bowlers. The 32-year-old pacer bagged 3 wickets and conceded 58 runs in 10 overs.
Mark Adair and Curtis Campher bagged 1 wicket each for the visitors.
Skipper Tamim Iqbal of Bangladesh looked in fine touch and scored a few boundaries as well in the previous game.
But he was unfortunate to get run out during his birthday and thereby not get a big score.
Another key player to watch out for in the Bangladeshi playing XI is Towhid Hridoy. He has had a stellar debut in ODIs so far.
In the first game, he scored 92 runs in just 85 balls. In the 2nd ODI versus Ireland, Hridoy scored 49 runs in 34 balls before being sent back to the pavilion by Mark Adair.
