Trinbago Knight Riders, the 2020 champions of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), have secured the return of cricketing legend Dwayne Bravo ahead of the upcoming 2023 season. 

Bravo rejoins the Knight Riders after spending two seasons with St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, where he played a major role in leading them to the title triumph in 2021.

Renowned as the leading wicket-taker in T20 history, Bravo’s exceptional skills have earned him a remarkable record of 124 victims in 97 matches at the CPL.

Impressively, he holds the distinction of being the leading wicket-taker for the Knight Riders, having surpassed the 100-wicket mark for his home franchise.

Dwayne Bravo’s Homecoming Sparks Excitement

Having previously represented the Trinidad franchise from 2013 to 2020, Bravo contributed significantly to their success, with the team clinching the CPL title on four occasions during his tenure. 

With an astounding total of five CPL titles under his belt, Bravo stands as the most successful player in the history of the tournament. His association with Trinidad Cricket has become synonymous with triumph and excellence, making his return to his home team a highly anticipated and thrilling prospect for Knight Riders fans.

As the complete squads for the CPL are set to be announced during the draft show, which will be broadcast at the end of June 2023, fans eagerly await the unveiling of the star-studded lineup that will accompany Bravo in his quest for further glory with Trinbago Knight Riders.

Captain Pollard and Team Director Delighted with DJ Bravo’s Return

Kieron Pollard, TKR captain thrilled as DJ Bravo Returns to the squad and said, “Very exciting times. The champion DJ Bravo is coming back to his home franchise TKR.
