The 48th edition of the Deodhar Trophy has kick-started genuine interest in domestic cricket among the cricket lovers of India. It is yet another tournament that deserves our support as it provides an opportunity for the cricketers to showcase their skills, mettle and their cricketing prowess.
It kick-started on 24th July 2023 and is slated to take place till 4th August 2023. Deodhar Trophy 2023 will have 6 participants in it and the teams have been divided into zones.
Recently, the Duleep Trophy 2023 ended and Hanuma Vihari’s South Zone had lifted the title. They defeated reigning champions West Zone by 75 runs in the finals.
Vidhwath Kaverappa was awarded with the player of the tournament award for his brilliance with the red-ball. He had bagged 15 wickets in the tournament and was one of the key reasons as to why South Zone lifted the title.
South Zone will be aiming to win the Deodhar Trophy 2023 as well and subsequently complete a double in the Indian domestic circuit.
