Faf Du Plessis Autobiography

Former captain of the South Africa national cricket team and professional cricketer Faf du Plessis will be releasing his autobiography. On October 28th, Faf Du Plessis’ autobiography will be released. The name of the autobiography is ‘Faf: Through Fire.’

He is regarded as one of the all-time great fielders and one of the top hitters across all formats.

Following a disappointing Champions Trophy campaign, AB de Villiers resigned from his position as ODI captain midway through 2017, and Faf du Plessis was named South Africa’s captain across all forms.

In 2019, he received the South African Cricketer of the Year award. In the Indian Premier League, he leads Royal Challengers Bangalore as captain.

Plessis, who was born in Pretoria on July 13, 1984, was brought up in a traditional Afrikaans home. His father, Francois, who also played rugby for Northern Transvaal, taught in his son a strong work ethic and sense of discipline.

Faf: Through Fire

Faf: Through Fire is much more than just a cricket novel. It tells the tale of a man who just so happened to excel at cricket.

Faf has tweeted, “I’ve always been a closed book. I haven’t really shared my journey through life and cricket with the people outside of my circle. In three weeks, you will get to be a part of my circle.”

Faf du Plessis’s cricketing career

On the field, Faf has scored 11,198 international runs and cemented himself as a modern great of the white-ball game. Faf is still one of the most athletic players in the world at the age of almost 38 by combining his outstanding fielding abilities with this consistent run-scoring.

At the IPL 2022 Mega Auction, the RCB paid INR 7 crore to acquire the seasoned South African batter. With the CSK, Faf du Plessis began his IPL career and has played for them ever since. The right-handed batter had a crucial hit in the league’s 2021 championship game, scoring 86 runs off just 59 deliveries and earning Player of the Match honours in the process.
