    SKY interview on Chahal TV

Yuzvendra Chahal is one of the funniest guys presently in the Indian cricket team. His frequent banters with other players hog the limelight and he often is regarded as the unofficial batting coach of some batters, albeit in a funny way.

After Surya Kumar Yadav pulled off a crucial knock in the series decider against New Zealand, he was interviewed by Yuzvendra Chahal in his famous “Chahal TV”.

Kuldeep Yadav too was present along with the star batter, who is also the number one batter in T20Is presently.

“I followed the advice of Yuzvendra Chahal which he gave me in the last series. I want to learn more from him, he’s my batting coach (laughs)”, said Surya Kumar Yadav on his brilliant performance in this game.

Surya Kumar Yadav deservedly won the player of the match award in this game for successfully powering India to victory. The number 1 T20I batter scored 26* runs in 31 balls and successfully waived off the opposition attack.

Lucknow offered a very mysterious pitch

The pitch at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Cricket Stadium in Lucknow was a tricky one. It favored spinners a lot and did not give any scope for runs for the batters. The batters from both teams had to dig deep for the runs and it was predominantly a bowler-friendly pitch.

India won the game by 6 wickets as they huffed and puffed a lot while chasing an abysmal total of 99 which was posted by the opposition team, New Zealand. Yuzvendra Chahal was phenomenal with the ball as he bagged a wicket in his spell of 2 overs and conceded just 4 runs.

He was absolutely unplayable as he spun a web and bamboozled the New Zealand batters. Chahal had a good economy rate of 2. Arshdeep Singh was the only bowler in the Indian team to bag 2 wickets.
