The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 is just around the corner and the fans and the cricketers are super excited. After a hiatus of 2 years, the marquee T20 tournament is back and we can expect some action-packed matches in the tournament.

England are the defending champions of the ICC T20 World Cup and had defeated Pakistan in the finals of 2022 in Australia. And after a disappointing ICC ODI World Cup 2023 sojourn, Jos Buttler and co. would be keen on defending their title and their glory.

India would be looking to end their trophy-drought and win their first ICC trophy since the ICC Champions Trophy 2013 victory.

In this article, we take a look at the top 5 youngsters to watch out for in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024:

    1. Yashasvi Jaiswal (India)

Swashbuckling southpaw Yashasvi Jaiswal would be hoping to have a great stint at the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The youngster is all set to partner the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma at the top and will be looking to give some fiery starts to India.

Jaiswal has played 17 T20Is for India and has amassed 502 runs with a highest score of 100 against Nepal in the Asian Games 2022 in Hangzhou. He was the youngest Indian to rack up a century in this format.

    2. Harry Brook (England)

England would be heavily banking on their explosive middle-order batter Harry Brook in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Brook has the ability to smear the opposition bowlers all across the park and would be forming an integral part of England’s ICC T20 World Cup squad.

The 25-year-old batter has played 30 T20Is for England and has scored 545 runs in this format.

    3. Rachin Ravindra (New Zealand)

New Zealand’s prodigy Rachin Ravindra would be hoping to grab some eyeballs in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The youngster lit up the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 in India with his stellar performances with the bat and would be keen on replicating that in USA and West Indies too.

Ravindra can roll his arm over and that makes him a crucial and invaluable asset to the Kiwis.

    4. Jack Jarvis (Scotland)

20-year-old pacer of Scotland, Jack Jarvis can be a key member of Scotland in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. At the young age of 20, Jarvis has already played 3 T20Is for Scotland and has bagged 7 wickets.

If we can let the ball do the talking, then Scotland would benefit largely in this ICC T20 World Cup 2024 in USA and West Indies.

    5. Tanzid Hasan (Bangladesh)

    Tanzid Hasan

23-year-old Bangladeshi opener Tanzid Hasan will be a key member of the Bangladesh side in the upcoming prestigious World Cup. The cricketer from Bogura was part of the title-winning Under-19 side of Bangladesh in the ICC U-19 World Cup 2020, when they defeated India in the finals.

The southpaw has played 6 T20Is and 15 ODIs for the Tigers and has scored 179 and 263 runs respectively.
