At the recently ended IPL Auction, Mumbai Indians (MI) paid a hefty amount of 17.5 Cr to sign Australian all-rounder Cameron Green. However, Mumbai Indians (MI) have suffered a significant setback going into the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) because its top all-arounder Cameron Green would only be available as a specialist batter until April 13.
Some reports claim that only if Green doesn’t participate in any of the Test matches for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against India will he be permitted to start bowling in the IPL.
Green is a tough bowler as well; on Boxing Day’s Test match against South Africa, he recorded a fifer. A finger injury sustained by the young player in the second Test against South Africa is being treated. He’ll be well enough to go on the India tour. Jimmy Neesham
Neesham has experience playing for MI, so the team can turn to the Kiwi if it needs a veteran option in a replacement of Cameron Green. The team would also have a left-hander in Neesham, which they lack at the present, in the finishing department. He would therefore also be a respectable choice.
