Sikandar Raza, an all-around player from Zimbabwe, had a dream year in 2022. He has played 160 T20 matches, scoring 3123 runs and scalp 83 wickets for an average of 7.31. His performance made an impression. He was signed for his base salary of Rs. 50 lakh and will play his first game in the IPL for Punjab Kings.

Delhi Capitals valued what they saw in the star pacer and chose him in the IPL 2023 auction for a fee of INR 5.5 crore. In the 16th IPL season, the bowler from Gopalganj will be hungry to make a name for himself.

He has so far claimed 42 wickets in 39 T20Is. Gujarat Titans have acquired Joshua in order to increase pace penetration. However, with a recent injury during a PSL match, he is likely to be unavailable in a few IPL matches.
