The IPL trading window is all set to begin in November 2022 according to sources. The trading window would allow a lot of teams to swap players and trade them with another franchise.

IPL 2023 is all set to begin in March/April 2023 and the buzz of IPL always engulfs a cricket-frenzied India. While we are all looking forward to the trading window, a mini-IPL auction will also take place this time around.

In this article, we talk about 3 players who might be seen in the IPL 2023 mini-auction:

1. Cheteshwar Pujara

Indian batter Cheteshwar Pujara has been in red-hot form in the Royal London One-Day Cup. He was captaining Sussex and his blade was breathing fire. The Indian compact top-order batter slammed 3 tons in the tournament and was the backbone of his team. He has smashed 614 runs in 8 games in the tournament so far. With an outstanding average of 102.33, Pujara was in sensational form throughout the tournament. It is next to impossible that IPL teams would not bid for the batter.

2. Sikandar Raza

Zimbabwean cricketer Sikandar Raza is another shining star who has been in buccaneering form in white-ball cricket. In the 3rd ODI against India, Raza smashed a brilliant century but that went in vain as India had the last laugh. The stylish batter was the 3rd-highest run scorer in the recently-concluded India vs Zimbabwe ODI series. Raza smashed 143 runs in 3 ODIs. His batting exploits hogged the limelight and is a major attraction in the upcoming mini-IPL auction.

3. Shai Hope

28-year-old Shai Hope has also displayed an aggressive brand of cricket in 2022. He has been a vital cog in the wheels of the West Indies (WI) ODI department and is their leading run-scorer in 2022. The Barbados-born cricketer has plundered 709 runs in 21 innings. The way he dominates the bowlers is a threat to any opposition. He should be a hot property in the mini-IPL auction.
