In the ongoing third Test match between India and England, a significant moment unfolded as Ravindra Jadeja reached his century, at the cost of debutant Sarfaraz Khan’s wicket.
The match, being played at the Niranjan Shah Cricket Stadium in Rajkot, witnessed a strong partnership between Jadeja and Sarfaraz.
After the early dismissal of three Indian wickets, skipper Rohit Sharma steadied the innings with a brilliant century.
Following Rohit’s dismissal, a new partnership blossomed between Jadeja and Sarfaraz. Sarfaraz, in his debut Test match, showcased his potential with an aggressive half-century, scoring 62 runs off just 48 balls.
However, Sarfaraz’s impressive innings was cut short by a run-out, a decision that led to frustration for skipper Rohit Sharma.
The frustration was evident as Rohit was captured on camera throwing his cap in the dressing room.
Despite the loss of Sarfaraz’s wicket, Jadeja continued to bat with determination and reached his century.
As of now, India has posted a total of 326 runs for the loss of five wickets in 86 overs, consolidating their position in the match after a shaky start.
