The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), captained by KL Rahul, will play their season opener with Delhi Capitals (DC) at home on April 1 the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season. On April 3, they will play their first away match against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), led by MS Dhoni.

LSG placed third in the IPL 2022 points standings but lost to Royal Challengers Bangalore in the elimination round the previous year.
