    Samit has been actively involved in cricket from a young age, following in the footsteps of his father, who is revered for his technique and temperament. 

    He was a key member of the Karnataka Under-19 team that clinched the 2023-24 Cooch Behar Trophy, a prestigious tournament for junior cricketers in India. 

    His performances in the tournament highlighted his ability to perform under pressure, making him a player to watch in the future.

    In addition to his domestic success, Samit also participated in a three-day match for the KSCA XI against Lancashire, further honing his skills against international competition. 

    His all-round abilities, particularly as a middle-order batsman and a seam bowler, have garnered attention from scouts and coaches alike.

    With his recent contract with the Mysore Warriors, Samit Dravid is set to make his debut in the Maharaja Trophy T20, which kicks off on August 15, 2024.

    The Mysore Warriors, who were runners-up in the previous season, will be looking to leverage Samit’s potential as they aim for the title.
