After putting up a first-wicket partnership of more than 100 runs with Devon Conway, Tom Latham was dismissed for a well-made 71. Tim Southee, the captain of New Zealand, earlier decided to bat first against Pakistan in the second and final Test at the National Stadium in Karachi.
Pakistan, on the other hand, is searching for the initial wickets. Both Pakistan and New Zealand aim to improve on their tie in the first match of the series in the last Test. Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan, stated that his team will play “positive and aggressive cricket” after the year 2022 ended without a home Test victory.
