The Prime Minister Narendra Modi Cup national invitational cricket competition will be held in Gadwal town from January 15 to 22, according to BJP national vice-president D.K. Aruna. This tournament will be a part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration. According to her, the final winner would receive a two-lakh rupee bonus, while the runner-up will receive a rupee payout of one lakh.
As per media reports, Aruna revealed that teams and IPL players from Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka will compete in the competition, which is sponsored by the North American Telugu Association (NATA).
‘Rural cricket global wicket’ is our slogan for the event, she said.
Telangana Cricket Association (TCA) is fielding a team while other contenders are from Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Jammu and Kashmir, she said.
