The Pakistan Super League (PSL) has advanced to the final round. There is only one more week of battle until the winner is announced. The top four teams will compete for the PSL 2023 trophy during the tournament’s most thrilling and entertaining phase. The two winners of the PSL 2023 Playoff advance to the Grand Finale in a single-elimination competition.
The PSL uses a playoff structure similar to the IPL, with three knockout games remaining until the PSL Final. Although Islamabad and Peshawar compete in a single Eliminator, Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans have two chances to qualify for the summit match.
Both Multan Sultans and Islamabad United ended their league games with 12 points. Multan Sultans will face table-toppers and defending champions Lahore Qalandars in the Qualifier on March 15 while Islamabad United will once more face fourth-placed Peshawar Zalmi in Eliminator 1 on March 16. This is because both teams were ranked second and third on net run rate.
The 15 March Qualifier winner advances to the 19 March final, while the losing team has another chance to qualify for the final on 17 March when they play the winner of the 16 March Eliminator 1 in Eliminator 2. Know complete details on PSL 2023 playoffs, schedule, and live streaming.
