The Pakistan Super League (PSL) eighth’s season will kick off on February 13 at the Multan Cricket Stadium with the defending champion Lahore Qalandars taking on the Multan Sultans.
The PSL 8 will feature 34 matches spread across four cities: Rawalpindi, Multan, Lahore, and Karachi. The Pindi Club Ground will host the most games (11), then Karachi and Lahore will each host nine. Of the five matches, Multan will host the fewest number.
The Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will host the final three playoff games as well as the championship game on March 19. The remaining four teams—Islamabad United, Multan Sultans, Lahore Qalandars, and Karachi Kings—will play five games apiece in front of their home crowds, with the exception of the Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi.
The reigning winners of PSL are Lahore Qalandars, who defeated Multan Sultans by 42 runs in the final the previous season. Both Fakhar Zaman and Shaheen Shah Afridi, who played for the Qalandars, were the tournament’s top run scorers and wicket-takers. Mohammad Rizwan, who played for Multan Sultans and scored 546 runs, was awarded player of the tournament.
PSL 2023: Opening Ceremony
The Multan crowd will be thrilled by a glittering opening ceremony before the event gets underway, which will feature performances by prominent Pakistani artists Asim Azhar, Aima Baig, Faris Shafi, Sahir Ali Bagga, and Shae Gill.

The 14 matches that will be played in Multan and Karachi between February 13 and February 26 include ticketing information that has been released by the PCB. Tickets for the matches in Lahore and Rawalpindi between February 26 and March 19 can be purchased in more detail at a later time.
PSL Tickets 2023 Price
Prices have been set at PKR 6,000 for VIP areas, PKR 3,000 for Premium seats, PKR 2,000 for First Class tickets, and PKR 1,000 for general admission for the inaugural match between the two finalists from last year.
Matches in Karachi will cost PKR 2,900 (VIP), PKR 1,900 (Premium), PKR 950 (First Class), and PKR 650 on days other than Sunday (General).
The price of VIP tickets for the Sunday, February 19 encounter between the Karachi Kings and the Lahore Qalandars is PKR 5,000, Premium tickets are PKR 3,000, First Class tickets are PKR 2,000, and General tickets are PKR 1,000.
The final match between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans will take place in Karachi on Sunday, February 26. Tickets for the game cost PKR 4,000 (VIP), PKR 2,00 (Premium), PKR 1,500 (First Class), and PKR 1,000 (Base Class) (General).
Season tickets for the four Multan games, excluding the first game, are priced at PKR 16,830 (VIP), PKR 9,630 (Premium), PKR 5,715 (First Class), and PKR 3,555 (combined) (General). The price of season tickets for the five Karachi games on February 16–24 will range from PKR 13,050 (VIP), PKR 8,550 (Premium), PKR 4,275 (First Class), and PKR 2,925 (First Class) (General).
When attending the game, spectators will need to provide the ID used to acquire the tickets.

The PSL matches tickets are available for sale. Fans can get tickets at pcb.bookme.pk. Physical tickets will also be available for purchase at the same time at the box offices of the venues.
