The owners of the IPL’s Chennai Super Kings, Chennai Super Kings Sports Limited, have chosen Joburg Super Kings as the name of their franchise for the SA20 T20 League.
According to SA20 league regulations, each of the six teams will be permitted to pre-sign five players before the auction: three from abroad, one South African international, and one uncapped South African. Additionally, there can be a maximum of 17 players in each squad for each team.
