Owner of the IPL T20 Mumbai Indias, Reliance Jio, gave its SA20 League franchise the name MI Cape Town. Rashid Khan will lead the squad of MI Cape Town in SA20 2023.
According to SA20 league regulations, each of the six teams will be permitted to pre-sign five players before the auction: three from abroad, one South African international, and one uncapped South African. Additionally, there can be a maximum of 17 players in each squad for each team.
