The T20 Spring Challenge 2024 started on October 11, marking an exciting addition to Australia’s domestic cricket calendar for the 2024-25 season.
This tournament aims to compensate for the reduction of matches in the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL), which will see its format cut from 14 to 10 matches.
The T20 Spring Challenge will feature all eight WBBL franchises alongside an Australian Capital Territory (ACT) team, known as the ACT Meteors.
Each team is scheduled to play four matches during the league stage. After a total of 18 games, the top four teams will advance to the semi-finals, culminating in a final match on October 20.
