    With this century, Kohli not only celebrated his 30th Test ton but also surpassed the legendary Sachin Tendulkar to become the Indian with the most Test hundreds on Australian soil.

    Kohli’s innings was characterized by a blend of grit and determination, marking a triumphant return to form after a year-long wait for his 81st international century. 

    This achievement places him just behind Jack Hobbs in the all-time list for most Test hundreds, with Kohli now holding seven centuries in Australia, equaling Wally Hammond’s record. 

    Tendulkar previously held the record with six centuries in Australia, making Kohli’s accomplishment particularly noteworthy.
