The teams who will participate in the knockout round of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 have been confirmed, with South Africa’s advancement being assured by the outcome of the last group-stage match.
After a thrilling group stage came to an end on Tuesday, the semi-finals will feature four of the top five teams in the world. The four teams will compete for berths in the final at the same ground on Sunday during both of the semi-final matches at Newlands in Cape Town.
When South Africa defeated Bangladesh in the final game of the league stage of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2023, the league stage is now concluded. England defeated Pakistan to win the group stage and take first place overall.

In Group 1, Australia finished first and South Africa finished second. Australia won all four group-stage matches. South Africa qualified with 4 points thanks to a high Net Run Rate (equivalent to New Zealand). Whereas in Group 2, England topped the group, followed by India, where England also won all four group stage matches. India won three of four games, losing one against England.

On February 23, India will play the Mighty Australia team in the first semifinal. The game will start at 6:30 PM at Newlands in Cape Town (IST).
