The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule for the highly anticipated Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024. The WPL 2024 is slated to run from February 23 to March 17 in Bengaluru and Delhi.
The inaugural clash of WPL 2024 promises an electrifying start, with defending champions Mumbai Indians locking horns with last year’s finalists, Delhi Capitals, in Bengaluru.
The tournament will witness fierce competition among five formidable teams, including Gujarat Giants, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and UP Warriorz, all vying for supremacy in the T20 arena.
All games will take place at Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium through March 4. The tournament’s final games will be held in Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium.
There will be 22 matches played, including the semifinal and final. The stakes are high, and the team that clinches the top spot in the points table will secure a direct entry into the final. The eliminator match, a clash of the second and third-placed teams, will decide the other finalist.
