    The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 lived up to its action and entertainment and Mumbai Indians women lifted their 2nd title. Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals by 8 runs in the finals and went on to win their 2nd title.

    Players in the form of Harmanpreet Kaur, Hayley Matthews and Nat Sciver-Brunt performed exceedingly well for Mumbai Indians and helped them win the WPL 2025 title. Delhi Capitals came close but once again fell short in the finals. It was doom and gloom for the Delhi franchise as this is the 3rd time that they have lost the finals of the WPL.

    The WPL 2025 provided a perfect platform for a lot of young cricketers to prove their mettle and showcase their skills. A lot of youngsters punched above their weight and packed a punch in this exciting cricket league.

    3. Niki Prasad (Delhi Capitals)

    With 78 runs under her belt, Niki Prasad had a good WPL 2025 sojourn for Delhi Capitals women. In the finals of this exciting tournament, Prasad stitched a fabulous partnership with Marizanne Kapp and tried her level best to take DC across the line.

    Prasad was not out on 25* runs and she had a good WPL 2025 outing. Niki Prasad was one of the best youngsters in the Delhi team.

    2. Kashvee Gautam (Gujarat Giants)

    21-year-old youngster Kashvee Gautam had a fantastic WPL 2025 campaign and she finished as the highest wicket-taker of Gujarat Giants. With 11 wickets under her belt, Kashvee Gautam had a fantastic outing.

    One of the main reasons why Gujarat Giants qualified for their maiden playoffs in WPL was because of the stellar performances of Gautam.

    3. Priya Mishra (Gujarat Giants)

    Another rising star of the WPL, Priya Mishra had a fantastic outing with Gujarat Giants in this competition. The 20-year-old cricketer took 6 wickets in the competition and she was one of the key players in the ranks of Gujarat Giants.

    Her spell of 3/25 against UP Warriorz on 16th February 2025 was a fantastic exhibition of skills and class.
