    The Women’s Premier League (WPL) is gearing up for its highly anticipated 2025 mini-auction, scheduled for December 15, 2024, in Bengaluru. 

    This event is crucial for the five franchises as they aim to bolster their squads ahead of the new season. 

    Following the WPL 2025 retention deadline, teams have been strategizing to fill the remaining slots with talented players, including notable international stars.

    Each franchise has been allocated a budget of ₹15 crore, an increase of ₹1.5 crore from the previous season. A total of 19 slots are available for bidding, which includes five slots for overseas players.

    The auction will feature 120 players, comprising 91 Indian players, 29 overseas players, and 3 players from Associate Nations.
