The 3rd season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) has been a rollercaoster of emotions and entertainment. The 5 teams have put up a splendid show and would be looking to carve their names in glory in the remainder of the tournament.

As we approach the middle portion of the tournament, we must do a roundup of the entire league that has unfolded. Some of the top superstars in world cricket like Ashleigh Gardner, Ellyse Perry and Jess Jonassen have performed exceedingly well and would be gunning to perform well in the second half of the tournament.

At the time of writing this article, Delhi Capitals women are sitting in pole position in the game. With 4 wins in 6 games, the Delhi franchise has punched above her weight and are serious contenders for the WPL trophy.

Mumbai Indians women, led by Smriti Mandhana, are in the 2nd position in the WPL points table and have 3 wins in 5 games. The likes of Natalie Sciver and Hayley Matthews have performed well for the Mumbai Indians franchise.

The defending champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, have slipped in a mudhole and have experienced 3 consecutive losses. Most notably, Bengaluru slipped in the Super Over against UP Warriorz women, in what was an absolute humdinger of a game.

It was the first super over in the history of WPL and the decision to send Smriti Mandhana ahead of the in-form Ellyse Perry was a surprising one and it didn’t help the cause of the defending champions as they tasted defeat in that game.

In this article, we take a look at the most runs, wickets and highest scores in the ongoing WPL 2025:
