BGMI, or Battlegrounds Mobile India, was released in 2020 by Krafton. It soon rose to become one of the biggest names in Indian gaming titles. This is owing to its resemblance to PUBG Mobile which was banned in India. However, BGMI met the same fate as PUBG Mobile and was also banned in India. Fans have been eager for the relaunch or unban of the game ever since its ban and are hoping for its quick return. Here are all the important updates regarding BGMI’s return as of December 2022.

Will BGMI return?

Following the BGMI ban, Krafton also issued a formal statement in which they reaffirmed their commitment to resolving any outstanding concerns with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). The business recently stated that discussions to bring the game back are still ongoing.

Recently, the “Login & Win” and “Golden Rush” events were introduced by Battlegrounds Mobile India in the game. Even though the game is not available on the Google Play Store or the App Store, these events have been made available. Gamers were accustomed to receiving awards when logging into the game before it was banned. The “Login & Win” event has now brought this back. It lasts for 15 days. The event rewards include silver Fragments, Supply Crate Coupon Scraps, Motorcycles, and the Mischievous Night Parachute are some of the rewards included in the event.

The developer of PUBG and BGMI Krafton recently announced that it was planning to bring BGMI back to India in a press release. Kraton is continuing its attempts to restore services for Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). It will keep investing in the Indian gaming business, according to the report. For all the fans, this is a glimmer of hope. This is because, other than this, Krafton has been largely mute on the ban.

Famous Indian gamers have also given hope on this issue. Numerous times during his broadcasts, the well-known Indian game streamer Spero has talked about the return of BGMI. He stated that the game may come back around the end of December or the start of January. Many players have previously voiced similar sentiments, notably Technical Guruji and Sardarji YT. Sc0utOP also added to this saying that he will definitely compete in BGMI as well as other games and will continue to do so in the future.
