Battlegrounds Mobile India or BGMI was banned in July 2022 owing to security concerns cited by the Indian government. After the ban, most BGMI players were looking for alternative ways to download the game and continue playing it.
Considering the undying interest that BGMI players have in the game, many websites began circulating fake APK download links. Additionally, rumors claiming to know the exact date when BGMI will be released again also began doing the rounds on the internet.
BGMI 2.4 APK Links
Several YouTubers and unofficial websites on the internet assert to be aware of the BGMI 2.4 update’s release date. There were also rumors that it would be released on January 15, 2023.
But more than two weeks have elapsed since the specified date, and Battlegrounds Mobile India has still not received a new update. Thus the dates and information listed on the websites are false and should not be trusted.
Numerous BGMI professionals went live on Instagram and YouTube to announce a potential release date. On this, Krafton India has not released any official information. Certain YouTubers have even provided ways to get the most recent BGMI 2.4 update.
Gamers should be aware that these links are fake since they lead users to download the PUBG Mobile worldwide variation. A small in-game update that corrected a few issues and made minor adjustments to BGMI was implemented in the game on January 11, 2023. Apart from this, there has been no news of an official release date by Krafton.
When will BGMI return?
It is urged that BGMI players not believe such unsubstantiated rumors and instead wait for Krafton India’s formal response. Additionally, they should refrain from clicking any links that might put a 10-year restriction on their in-game ID.
A date for the BGMI unban has not been formally confirmed by Krafton. Since the ban, Battlegrounds Mobile India has not received any updates. But there are links to the BGMI 2.4 update going around online.
