Krafton, the developers of Battlegrounds Mobile India, or BGMI have been relatively silent about the return of BGMI to the Indian market. Months after the BGMI ban, we still do not have an official announcement on the return date of the game. However, fans who have been eager for the game’s return, have resorted to hints dropped by several famous gamers regarding BGMI’s return. Many influencers from the gaming industry have shared their two cents on this topic. Recently, Piyush “Spero” Bathla spoke out about the BGMI unban possibility.

Spero on BGMI return date

The well-known Indian gaming streamer Spero has addressed his audience via his broadcasts many times to clarify the issue. Spero predicts that the game may return towards the end of December or the beginning of January. He repeated the same in one of his most recent streams. He said that there is a high likelihood that fans of BGMI can expect to learn more about BGMI’s return in the first week of January.

A number of gamers, including Technical Guruji and Sardarji YT, have already expressed similar opinions. They predicted that the return or announcement would take place in late December or early January.

Other gaming influencers on BGMI unban

Since the BGMI ban was implemented more than four months ago, several influencers, including Ghatak, Technical Guruji, Shiva Nandy, and others, have offered their thoughts on the subject. Also optimistic about the game’s return are other esports influencers like Shiva Nandy and Yash Bhanushali. Spero’s remarks may therefore be based on the same ideas or rumors, expressed by other influencers.

When will BGMI return?

At the National Assembly Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee audit, the South Korean ambassador to India also brought up the topic of BGMI. According to His Excellence Mr. Chang Jae-bok, Korean delegates have been consistently working for a solution.

It is imperative to avoid coming to any conclusion based on the remarks of the BGMI gaming influencers. Fans should rather wait until Krafton makes an official announcement about the lifting of the ban on Battlegrounds Mobile in India. Fans might still have hope, though, since Krafton has indicated that it would keep working to bring back the Indian PUBG Mobile version.
