The World Championship and the Snapdragon Mobile Masters, two significant tournaments, will be held during the 2023 and 2024 COD Mobile Esports seasons.
They will be hosted by Activision in collaboration with ESL Faceit Group.
A total of $1.5 million in cash will be awarded over the 2023 Season. This includes the $200K Snapdragon Mobile Masters and the $1 million COD Mobile World Championship Grand Finale.
The prize pool for the fourth World Championship is lower than it was for the first three.
COD Mobile World Championship 2023
On April 27, the In-Game Solo Play, the first stage of the World Championship, will start. Players may gain qualification points by competing in ranked matches.
Players must assemble their teams to participate in the second stage, with the winning squads moving on to the third level.
The top achievers in the first two phases will also receive some in-game goodies from the organizers.
In Stage 3, the top teams will compete against one another in each of the seven regions to advance to the next round, which will also provide cash prizes.
Additionally, it will be shown on the Call of Duty Mobile channel.
The top 16 teams from each participating zone will advance to the Grand Finale following Stage 4 to compete for a massive prize pool of $1 million, which is scheduled for December.
Activision will announce the whole format, schedule and other important details soon.
Snapdragon Mobile Masters
In October, the Open Qualifiers for the Snapdragon Mobile Masters will begin. Early in 2024, the Mobile Masters, the major event with a $200K cash prize, will bring together the best players from all over the world.
The competition will be a part of Season 4 of the Snapdragon Pro Series.
ESL holds a number of mobile-specific competitions for a variety of titles, including PUBG Mobile, and others.
The two tournaments are sure to be interesting and will bring in more viewership and players.
