The Global Esports Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and New State Mobile rosters have been disbanded, which is, truly the end of an era in Indian esports.

Global Esports now has no roster in the mobile esports arena as a result of this change. Fans were shocked by the news because the team had two of the finest rosters in each of the games.

The reason behind this decision has not been revealed yet, but it is most likely due to the roster’s sub-par performance in the New State Mobile scene and the lack of clarity on the BGMI unban date.

The social media posts state that Global Esports will return to the mobile gaming scene after BGMI’s relaunch and that the news does not signal their departure from the scene.

Disbandment Of Global Esports BGMI & New State Roster

Global Esports made the following announcement on their social media sites regarding the end of both squads: “With a heavy heart today, we bid farewell to our BGMI and NEW State Mobile Rosters.

To these young talents, You guys have shown immense love and dedication towards their games.

We appreciate your contribution – not only towards keeping the GE spirit high, but also keeping alive the dreams of millions of young esports enthusiasts in India! Thank you and all the best for your future endeavours.”

Global Esports BGMI Roster

  • Khush “Jokerr” Singh
  • Mohammad “Manya” Raja
  • Nakul “NakuL” Sharma
  • Manpreet “Rony” Singh
  • Aj

The squad established itself as one of the finest in the nation despite only participating in the game for four months under the organisation. The squad won the THUG Invitational:

Season 5 and The Esports Club – BGMI Invitational Season 4, showing a remarkable progress. The team also put on an amazing showing in the BGMI Pro Series, finishing in third place.

The team’s most impressive achievement and competition victory occurred during the BGMI Masters Series.

Global Esports New State Mobile Roster

The most recent Global Esports New State Mobile roster was signed recently, in January 2023. It comprised:

  • Shubham “AJ” Jayybhaye
  • SJ27
  • RJ75
  • Rahul
  • NoDDY

Under Global Esports, the squad only competed in the SPS New State Mobile Open India. They placed seventh in the championship game.

Rushindra Sinha, CEO of Global games, previously voiced his concerns about the viability of mobile gaming in India in a Twitter conversation.

In light of the recent issues the industry has encountered, he doubted the feasibility of hanging onto rosters for well-known mobile titles Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and New State Mobile.

In the Twitter conversation, he added that the organization was not abandoning mobile esports and would resurface after the BGMI unban.

However, the likelihood of Global Esports returning to New State Mobile seems rather bleak at present.
