Esports tournaments are on the rise, witnessing increasing participation from a wide variety of eSports titles.

The sports organisation Esports Exclusive conducted an online Dota 2 tournament. The tournament featured a matchup between India and Pakistan.

This match was bound to bring in the ever-captivating healthy rivalry between the two countries.

The two countries gave it their all, and India prevailed 3-2 in the finals. It was an exciting match, leaving the fans guessing who the winner could be up to the last round.

Pakistan won the first round of the closely contested competition with a score of 45–37, but India made a strong comeback to win the second round 39–31.

India won the following two rounds 40-22 and 46-45 after Pakistan once more outperformed India 69-40 in the third round.

Players like Moin Ejaz, Abhishek Yadav, and Vishal Vernekar, who won the bronze medal in the Commonwealth Games, lined up once more to compete for team India in the Dota 2 tournament.

There were more prominent Indian gamers who would also represent India in addition to them. Top gamers from Pakistan have also participated in the competition.

Bharat Singh, president of Esports Exclusive, remarked in relation to the same saying, “The tournament was exciting and both the teams played really well. India esports is still developing, there are not enough platforms to play at international levels.

We as a company want to fulfill those gaps and give more opportunities to players to compete at the international level. At present, we are starting with 2 countries India and Pakistan, soon we will spread to other Asian countries also.”

It is exciting to see both countries making their mark in the international arena and putting forth their best.

With more participants emerging from these countries where eSports were not given much priority in the earlier days, we can expect more of such gripping encounters.
