Free Fire brought a new and innovative way to discard unwanted items and receive new ones through the Melting Vault Event. However, this turned out to be problematic for several users who were not aware that once their old items are melted, they could not get them back. This resulted in many players melting items that they did not want to discard.
Players were frantically looking for ways to get their items back and although Free Fire had warned that it would not be possible to do so, they have now brought in a method to do just that. So if you are looking for a way to get your melted items back, keep reading.
Free Fire Melting Vault Event
The Melting Vault event commenced on December 21, 2022. It will run until January 3, 2022. Free Fire players can exchange their existing cosmetics to obtain unique tokens. These tokens can be used to start a spin. Ten spins are priced at 20 tokens, whereas a single spin costs two tokens. Players will then get rewards using these tokens.
Steps To Get Back Melted Items
Free Fire is now giving players the much-needed opportunity to get back the items which they mistakenly melted. If you melted your items before 22 December 1:30 p.m IST, follow the steps given below:
- Launch the game and click on the ‘Calendar’ tab.
- Then head to ‘News’ and click on ‘Melting Vault Item Return’.
- You will see a form here that you have to fill out.
- Once the form is filled out, the developers will return the items that you exchanged. However, all the new items that you received through this event will be removed.
Free Fire players must keep in mind that the form will be open only until 25 December 2022, 11:59 p.m. Therefore, if you want to get your exchanged items back, submit the form without any delay. It will take around 14 days for the items to be returned.
