GTA 6 has been in development for quite long and as time progresses, the expectations of fans have grown exponentially. The developers have done a good job of keeping the details under wrap. The lack of information around GTA 6 meant that gamers who have been anticipating the series’ next installment since 2013’s GTA V would have to continue to wait endlessly before learning anything about the new game.
That ended earlier this month when GTA 6 leaks circulated online. A number of in-game clips and pieces of code were leaked, and they provided extensive information about the game, including details about the map, gameplay mechanics, and NPC (Non-player character) systems. Here’s all the information you need to know about GTA 6 release date and features.
GTA 6 Release Date
Although there is no official release date, it appears that GTA 6 will be released between April 2023 and March 2024 if we look at Rockstar Games’ parent firm Take-Two Interactive. Take-Two Interactive stated that they will invest more than $89 million between the aforementioned time period in a 2020 SEC filing.
Rockstar, the developers of the game stated, “We are extremely disappointed to have any details of our next game shared with you all in this way. Our work on the next Grand Theft Auto game will continue as planned and we remain as committed as ever to delivering an experience to you, our players, that truly exceeds your expectations.” Rockstar said that it will “properly introduce” GTA 6 when it is ready.
However, as of now, nothing has been confirmed. Therefore, fans must wait till the official announcement by the developers.
