Amidst news of BGMI players switching to New State Mobile and rosters bein
g shuffled across all teams, Hydra Esports owner Dynamo recently spoke about his inactive team member, Wrath. At the time, there was no comment from Wrath.
Renowned BGMI player and YouTuber Yashwant “Wrath” Patel live-streamed on his channel on February 7, 2023, and covered a variety of topics. He addressed a viewer during the show who inquired about his membership in the Hydra Esports clan.
Dynamo said on a livestream two weeks ago that Wrath will be dropped from Hydra Esports due to inactivity, and that statement started the entire discussion around Wrath’s status there.
Given that Wrath and Hydra Esports have one of the largest fan bases in the BGMI gaming community, it is understandable that the content creator’s latest statements have generated a lot of discussion among followers.
Wrath stated he hasn’t been active on YouTube since before Diwali, which is a significant gap for a developing video producer. He did, however, affirm that he is still an essential member of Hydra Esports. He also described how he had helped his family through a challenging period while his father was in the hospital.
Wrath states that he wants to stay with Hydra
When asked about his present role within the group, Wrath said he wanted to stay with Hydra. He added that, however, team owner Dynamo would have the last say. Wrath said:
“I have not left Hydra. Back then, honestly, I was unavailable and could not create any content for Hydra. My dad was admitted to the hospital and I was looking after the family and doing household chores. I want to be in the organization, but since I have been inactive for so long, it’s up to Dynamo to make the final decision. I cannot force someone to keep me in a place.”
Reason for being inactive
Pro-player Battlegrounds Mobile India Wrath discussed communicating with Hydra members and provided explanations for his inaction. Wrath claimed that he had recently been in contact with the Hydra members while still talking about the same subject.
He claimed to have spoken with Hrishav at the beginning of the year. Wrath was driving and with his mother at the moment, so he was unable to talk for a while. He also mentioned that he frequently texts Dynamo via WhatsApp.
Wrath discussed getting into a fight with two troublemakers before Diwali, which resulted in his father being hurt, on the same broadcast. He said that he had already filed an FIR, which is still being investigated. Wrath also expressed regret to his followers for going inactive for so long. His followers, however, greeted him with open arms.
From the response of his followers, we can discern that they will definitely be happy if Wrath were to return. However, we will have to wait and see what Dynamo says.
