Valorant Swiftplay Beta Mode Released: All Details

Date:

Riot Games has officially announced the beta version of Swiftplay, the newest mode for Valorant. Swiftplay, as the name indicates, is a shorter mode that players may test out in Valorant. In the future patch, Valorant will make Swiftplay available worldwide as a brand-new game mode. With the release of Patch 5.12 on December 6, 2022, gamers in all areas will have access to Swiftplay’s beta version.

Swiftplay will effectively be a shorter version of Unrated in Valorant. This gives players the opportunity to play in a setting similar to that of the conventional Unrated mode but with a limited match duration. Since it takes up much lesser time, this new game mode seeks to provide players with the essential Valorant experience quickly. Swiftplay Beta will be added to Valorant’s list of game modes along with Unrated, Competitive, Spike Rush, Deathmatch, Escalation, Replication, and Custom Game with the release of Episode 5 Act 3’s final patch.

Valorant Swiftplay Features

The features of the Swiftplay mode are similar to that of the 5v5 Unrated Mode. However, this mode is shorter in duration.

  • The winning team will be the first team that completes 5 rounds, with 4 rounds for each half.
  • Victory conditions will be identical to those of conventional Spike modes, with one spike bearer on each team.
  • To win each round, teams must either eliminate the opposing team or plant/defuse the spike.
  • At the beginning of the round, each player will receive a certain amount of Set Credit.
  • Weapon and Credit Carryover is allowed.
  • Teams who win a pistol round will earn a bonus of +600 Credit.
  • The Spike Plant bonus will be +300 Credits. The Standard Kill bonus will be +200 Credits.
  • Swiftplay has the option to purchase equipment and weapons during the buy phase.
  • Two Ultimate points are awarded at the beginning of each half.
  • After eight rounds, sudden death overtime will begin.
  • The duration of the match will be around 15 minutes.
  • The Swiftplay map pool will be identical to the present Unrated map pool.

Players can try out these new features in the Swiftplay Beta Mode in Valorant. Riot Games will fix any issues arising before it is released worldwide for everyone to experience.
