BGMI, or Battlegrounds Mobile India has faced a long exile from the country after being banned at the pinnacle of its success in the Indian market. However, the popularity of this game and the love towards it from the fans was made clear in that fans are still waiting for the BGMI unban after almost a year of its ban.
Thankfully for the fans, the long wait may not be in vain, and it might just have a fruitful ending. Recently, rumours have begun to surface that the BGMI unban will be taking place soon. The Government of India has reportedly given the green light to bring back Battlegrounds Mobile India to the App Store and Play Store soon, albeit with a few restrictions.

BGMI 2.5 update
BGMI players have been able to play the game even after its ban. This is because the servers of the game are still active. However, the game has not received any updates that PUBG Mobile has received. This was not the case before the BGMI ban.
Recently, PUBG Mobile received the PUBG Mobile 2.5 update, bringing in a slew of wonderful features. It also marked the celebration of the five-year anniversary of the game.
Although BGMI has not received any of the prior updates that PUBG Mobile received, fans are wondering if the 2.5 update will come to BGMI owing to the recent BGMI unban rumours.
However, BGMI fans must understand that Krafton, the developers of BGMI have still not given any confirmation about the BGMI return date. This means that even if the rumours of the relaunch of the game are to be believed, it will still take a long time before BGMI returns.
By the time this occurs, PUBG Mobile would most likely have already released its next update. However, the exact information regarding the same will be confirmed once Krafotn makes an official announcement.
