Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti extended his contract at the club till 2026 on Friday. The Los Blancos released a statement regarding the extension of the legendary manager till the year of 2026.
“Real Madrid CF and Carlo Ancelotti have agreed to extend our coach’s contract until June 30, 2026. In his five seasons as coach of Real Madrid, he has won 10 titles: 2 Champions League, 2 Club World Cups, 2 European Super Cups, 1 League, 2 Copas del Rey and 1 Spanish Super Cup,” stated Real Madrid in their official announcement.
There were reports floating that Brazil might rope in Ancelotti as their manager after the expiration of Carlo Ancelotti’s contract at Santiago Bernabeu, next year. If that would have materialised, then Ancelotti would have become the first foreign coach of Brazil in nearly 60 years.
Several young players have been making their first-team debuts and Carlo Ancelotti has played a big role in it. The emergence of Jude Bellingham has also presented the case of the Real Madrid manager in a strong manner.
Bellingham has been a force to reckon with in the team of Real Madrid and has been breathing fire in this season. In the ongoing La Liga 2023-24, Bellingham has netted 13 goals in 16 matches and also has 2 assists.
On the other hand, youngsters in the form of Gonzalo Garcia and Nico Paz have made their first-team debuts with Real Madrid in the last few weeks. Carlo Ancelotti will be responsible for the smooth transition within the Los Blancos side, to guide them for the future.
