India and Lebanon have qualified to the finals of the ongoing Hero Intercontinental Cup 2023 and will be crossing swords with each other. The match will be played at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneshwar and is slated to begin from 7:30 PM (IST).
After finishing on top of the points table, both the teams would be determined to put on a clinical display in the all-important finals. In the dress rehearsal of the finals in the last round-robin game, India and Lebanon drew against each other.
Both the teams received several opportunities to score but none could cash in on the opportunities as it resulted into a frustrating goal-less draw.

Lebanon, who are the top-ranked side in the Hero Intercontinental Cup, drubbed Vanuatu in their first game. The score-line read 3-1 in favour of the Cedars in Bhubaneshwar. Nader Matar, Hassan Kourani and Karim Darwich found their names on the goal-scoring sheet.
In their second game, the Middle Eastern country had a goalless draw against Mongolia. The game against India on 15th June 2023 was the second goalless draw for Lebanon in the Hero Intercontinental Cup 2023.
