Post the Indian Super League (ISL), the next big tournament of Indian football will be the Hero Super Cup 2023. The tournament will be taking place in Kerala and it will be taking place in 3 venues. All ISL teams will be taking part in it.
Notably, the Super Cup will be back in action after a hiatus of 4 years and will be a pretty competitive and good tournament. The 11 ISL teams have received direct entry into the tournament along-with RoundGlass Punjab, who have been crowned as the I-League champions in this year.
A total of 16 teams will be there in the tournament in Kerala. The remaining 4 spots will be available for the I-League teams who will be finish from the 2nd to the 10th position.
They will be going through a knockout phase in order to secure one of the positions of the remaining 4 ones.
FC Goa are the defending champions of Super Cup and after failing to qualify for the playoffs of ISL 2022-23, the Gaurs would be desperate to defend their Super Cup title.
The 16 teams have been divided into 4 groups of 4 teams each. Each team in the group will be playing 3 matches in the group-stage.

Fixtures
The Super Cup 2023 is slated to kick-start from 3rd April 2023 and will be taking place till 25th April 2023. A total of 16 teams will be taking part in the tournament.
