Match week 17 of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2022-23 witnessed some major gains and losses for the teams. While some of the teams like Mumbai City FC and Kerala Blasters FC further stamped their authority in the tournament, East Bengal FC and Chennaiyin FC slumped to deeper holes in the tournament.

Despite a fighting spirit in the 2nd half, East Bengal FC ended up being on the losing side in the game against FC Goa. The score-line read 4-2. Sarthak Golui and V.P. Suhair netted the goals for the Red and Gold Brigade.

Mumbai City FC staged a late comeback against Jamshedpur FC and took home all 3 points. In a very crucial fixture between Bengaluru FC and Chennaiyin FC, the Blues emerged out victorious. With this win, they now have 4 wins in their last 4 games.

ATK Mohun Bagan won their game against Odisha FC 2-0 at the iconic Salt Lake Stadium. Dimitri Petratos had scored in the 3rd and 80th minutes of the game.
